User Manual

Map Display
  • ・ You can view the map of the Mt. Fuji area. Hiking routes, mountain huts, rescue stations, information centers, etc., will be displayed. By tapping an icon, you can see detailed information such as facility names and phone numbers.
  • ・ For safety during hiking and rescue operations in case of an emergency, information about the current position will be acquired and transmitted only within the Mt. Fuji area (within a radius of 13km from the top of Mt. Fuji). To transmit your location information during hiking, set the location permission to "Always Allow" on the location information acquisition confirmation screen. Even if "Always Allow" is set, information outside the Mt. Fuji area will not be recorded.
  • ・ During hiking, please keep the SHIZUOKA FUJI NAVI app running in the background. GPS records will not be obtained unless the app is running.
Push Notifications
When notifications from the SHIZUOKA FUJI NAVI app are turned on, you will receive emergency information about Mt. Fuji and weather alerts. You can view past notifications in a list.
Receive Entry Permit
Proceed to receive the entry permit by accessing the reception link issued when obtaining the entry permit.
In addition, it is necessary to answer all questions correctly in the pre-education test to receive the entry permit. (You can take the test as many times as needed until you answer all questions correctly.)
  • Step1

    Access the reception link for the entry permit and tap "Open SHIZUOKA FUJI NAVI app".

    ※ If a companion has obtained an entry permit, please have them send you the reception link.

  • Step2

    Check the details of the entry permit you are receiving and tap "Take Pre-Learning".

  • Step3

    Tap "Learn About Climbing Mt. Fuji".

  • Step4

    Read the pre-learning page and tap "Return to App" at the bottom of the page.

  • Step5

    Tap "Take Test".

  • Step6

    After answering all questions, proceed to scoring.

  • Step7

    After passing the pre-education test by answering all questions correctly, tap "Next".

  • Step8

    Confirm the entered name and phone number, select age, gender, and hiking experience, and after checking consent to the ticket's terms of service and privacy policy, tap "Complete Receiving Ticket".

  • Step9

    Receiving the entry permit is completed.

  • Step10

    If you want to check the details of the received entry permit, tap "Details".

Display Entry Permit
Please show the entry permit to the staff at the entrance of the trail.
  • Step1

    Start the SHIZUOKA FUJI NAVI app and display the entry permit. If there are multiple entry permits, swipe left to display the entry permits for each person.

  • Step2

    Show the entry permit to the staff at the entrance of the trail.

  • Step3

    From 2:00 PM to 3:00 AM the next day, mountain hut accommodations will be checked. In this case, tap "Details" to display the details of the entry permit, and present something that shows the mountain hut accommodation reservations, such as email.

Sign Up / Log In
For first-time users of the app, sign-up is required.
  • Step1

    Select a language and tap "Sign Up".

  • Step2

    Enter your email address, password, name, and phone number, select your country of residence, check the terms of service and privacy policy consent, then tap "Register".

  • Step3

    Enter the verification code sent to the registered email address and tap "Log In".

  • Step4

    Log-in will be completed. After signing up, please log in by entering the registered email address and password.

About Changing Registered Info
User information (email address, password, resident country, prefecture) registered at the time of sign-up can be changed from "User Information" in My Page. The display language can be changed from "Language Settings/Language" in My Page.
If You Forgot Your Password
If you forget your password and cannot log in, tap "Log In" and then tap "Forgot Password?" to reset your password.
